The "Terumo Group Code of Conduct" also states the "Respect for Human Rights" as every associate's guide to day-to-day business activities.

Additionally, the "Terumo Group Procurement Policy" and "Supplier Guidelines" address the respect of human rights, as well as requesting external business partners such as material and service suppliers to consider human rights.

The "Terumo Group Human Rights Policy" aims to clarify Terumo Group's position and responsibility on human rights, which are described in the existing policies, and express its commitment to promote human rights. The policy supports and respects the United Nation's "Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights". As a company that provides products and services relating to the lives and health of people, the policy identifies the importance of human rights, prioritizing specific themes such as creating safe and worker-friendly environments, complying with fair labor practices, and ensuring the quality and safety of products and services.

The policy will be applied to the entire Terumo group. Terumo aims to advance respect for human rights, in order to strive to become a socially trusted company, and to contribute to achieving a sustainable society.
