Terumo Corporation (TOKYO:4543) announced today that it established a new sales branch in Austria on the 20 of April aiming at business expansion.

Previously, Terumo ran all business operations in the Austrian market via agents and distributors. However, given the strategic importance of the Austrian market, Terumo decided to establish an Austrian sales branch. Focus of the new branch will be interventional products supported by a direct sales force closely connected with the field.
